Brecon 10 mile in Women Running top 10 mile races

Women Running did a list of top 10 mile race and this one made the list. They said it was very scenice and a good PB course. If you have never done it then I recomend it. Not sure about the PB but it's certainly challenging, and you get a t-shrit to fit!

Unfortunately the route was changed couple of years ago and it's no longer a measured / registered course.

The course is now measured, it wasn't in 2013, but I went and did it before this years race

I wouldn't say its a good PB course but its a nice race. I did it the past three years. My only negative comment would be that they gave my third place trophy to a man called Sion  (they thought Sion was a female name. Mixed it up with Sian I think!). Sion had gone home so they didn't find out about their mistake until a few days later! Edited by user 29 November 2014 21:53:16(UTC)

Glad to hear it's a measured course again. I'd definitely consider running it again, if they've improved. It wasn't well organised in 2013. All kinds of errors. I didn't run due to injury but remember being there and the announcer was calling for the 2nd and 3rd place ladies to collect their trophies - but those ladies hadn't finished the race yet! (Claire was one I think).
