The results are out and we have some runners in contention for age group prizes if they keep up their strong running. http://www.gwent-league.org.uk/2015/res153.htm

So well done to everyone but especially Libby Bohemen, Julie Scholey, Ann James, Clare Johnson, Sanday Johnston and Mike Davies who are all 1st or 2nd in their age groups. Not far behind them Huw Evans and Steve Paterson are 4th and 5th respectively in the v35 men.

Obviously there are also the team competitions and only if we ALL make the effort to get there and run will we have any chance in doing well in these. The gwent league cross country is a huge event for the club and it would be fantastic to see more of you at the last two fixtures in 2016.

Cross country is not as scary as you think and if you haven't experienced it les croupiers style with a mountain of cakes and camaraderie
then you are missing out!

Best racin series I have competed in. Nothing beats running off road through mud and dirt.. Everyone should give it a go. It's great fun.

Must say a decent course - spike friendly , easy to get too so overall a welcome addition to the Gwent league

Would have been nice for a few more croups to be running..

Anyone would have thought rugby was on..

Yes a real X-Country course and scenic as well. Haven't run in so much mud for a long time. Unfortunately I never have been able to run well on courses like this and it certainly suits some people more than others.......... horses for courses!
