Summer Heat

Even though the scorching heat of July and August is starting to cool, the club championships continue to fizz.

In the Short Course, a glut of races has seen Angela Champion and Douglas Nichols shoot to the top, brushing aside long time leaders Jenny Martin and Richard Baker respectively. In fact, Angela Champion has also nudged Julie Scholey off the top of the Long Course Championship. A strong couple of months for Angela.
In addition, Ed Donovan has nudged into third place in the Short Course, David George has created a gap for third place in the Long Course. Elizabeth Denton has made a push for third place in the Off Road with Clive Osmond also pushing strongly to occupy third place in the men's event.

Current leaders:

Mike,

I think the autumn fod still counts for off road as the spring one was delayed. Is that correct ?

Thats what our web site says

Yes James, it's the autumn Forest of Dean trail half that counts for off road championships this year, and not the spring one which was cancelled.
