Entries are now open for the cross challenge. Taking place the same day as the Gwent League. If you just wish to do the Gwent League just pass your name on when the asked which I guses will be in the next couple of weeks. The frist fixture is in Llandaff fields so not not much exucess for anyone not too turn up!!
Rember it's all about the cake! O yes we have a cake table both home mad and shop brought cakes welcome.

I think this post requires a little clarification, if only for the benefit of newer members.
The Cardiff Cross Challenge is a prestigious event which has been going for over 20 years. It's part of a series.
It used to be held as a stand alone event in January.
However, last year (and this) it will be incorporated into the first Gwent League.
If you want to enter the Cardiff Cross Challenge, it will cost you £9.
If you want to simply enter the Gwent League (and not the Cross Challenge)- it's FREE (all part of being a member of the greatest club on the planet).
I know what I'll be doing.

well said Mick and well posted..

Gwent leagues are a great way to do quality hard runs in the winter and meet many new and members that don't always come down. really worth going..

just a shame breacon is off the gwent league list for now..
