Posting this a bit late but never mind...Smile

Click me & if you have a music player & sound on your computer, the player should launch & you should hear the intro to a well known TV series originally from the 1960's. What TV series was it & who starred?

For extra brownie points, who was the well known composer?

The competition is open to any who have not won before. Whoever answers the questions first can claim a free drink from me at the bar on a Thursday night!BigGrin

Ironside. Raymond Burr in staring role. Hard hitting in its time.

Quincy jones was the composer. He, plus Lalo Schifrin wrote some of the best film / TV music we'll ever have.

St. Arvans MT10 results.

Position Time Name Cat

9 1:07:57 Mike Murphy M50 (PB)
18 1:11:34 Howard Kent M60 (PB by 2min 4s)

30 1:14:58 Roy Silver M50 (PB)
43 1:20:30 Julie Scholey F50 (PB by 1min 37s)
75 1:38:33 Alex Davies F (PB)
76 1:38:37 Gill Murphy F60 (PB by 7min 35s)

Team prize: Alun, Mike, Howard, Clive, Roy
Age category prizes: Alun, Howard, Julie, Gill

PB’s are for the course.

Apologies if I missed anyone or miscalculated. Please feel free to correct.

Mike worked out that the team cumulative age was 250+yr. That coupled with our results today reminded me of a cult TV series transmitted in the 1960’s. So, another competition:

Complete the following phrase: We are… ‘Click me to hear a musical clue’.

If you have a music player & sound on your computer, the player should launch & you should hear the intro to the TV program.

For extra brownie points who was the composer, & what is the link, (a bit more esoteric this)?

The competition is open to any who have not won before. Whoever answers the questions first can claim a free drink from me at the bar on a Thursday night!BigGrin
