Saturday 23rd November 2013

Following on from a fairly sucessful trip to Sutton Park back in May it would be good to see as many teams as possible out for this event.

Age Groups
W35+ (3 stages), W45+ (3 stages), W55+ (3 stages), W65+ (3 stages)
M35+ (5 stages), M45+ ( 5 stages ), M55+ (4 stages), M65+ (3 stages)
All ages as on the day of race.

Multiple team entries in any age group welcome.

Clubs First claim and UKA Registered members only. Club vests must be
worn.

Teams
Entries from B teams will be accepted. ( Medals for A Teams only,
but prizes for any “B” team scoring in first three home )

Start times
12.15pm: W35+, W45+, W55+, W65+, M65+,
1.45pm: M35+, M45+, M55+

Course
Each 2 lap stage covers a total 3.1k distance.

Awards
BMAF medals for the first three teams in each age group. (A Teams
Only) Additional medals for the fastest stage in each age group.

Yes please. Definitely worth plugging. It's a long way, but UK Champs (relay or individual) need supporting, and we have a history of picking up medals. Great for team building.

Al Jones made me aware of this tonight. Since the stadium is 450m from my parent's front door, it would be silly not to come along really. I have informed my Dad that he'll need to make plenty of his tasty lemon drizzle cake.

And yes, I should be able to run faster having grown up that close to a track.

So far it is only myself and Jane that have said yes to this. Are there any other women out there that would be interested in running? it would be great if we could get a team together!
