anyone interested in a hangover recovery run.. on boxing day from the club 8 min mile pace..

starting around 830..for 10 miles prob.. summer 10 route.

That's a very good idea James. A may not seem like a good idea on Boxing Day morning though - so don't wait for me.

As it turned out, it was an excellent idea. Getting up in the dark when you don't really need to may seem crazy, but once out the door it's like an extra Christmas present. 6 members too, and great company. Two degrees was a bit nippy, but it was dry, and with rough weather forecast later it was a good move. Thanks James.
By the way, John Middleton phoned from Kenya yesterday, where it is 33 degrees, and wishes to be remembered to all his loyal subjects. He threatens to visit in the New Year!

defo needed the gloves mind. could have done with anti freeze this am. very cold.. but clear.

With Mick mentioning John Middleton in his blog, did any other members notice J.M. on the "Rob Brydon live" programme, shown yesterday. He had quite a good return of banter with Rob Brydon. The show was shown as part of Channel 5's Night of Comedy and was recorded in Norwich in 2009. If not shown again, you can see it again on "Channel 5's I Player"
