We may be a little thin on the ground this weekend due to several of our regulars doing Lliswerry.
But that doesn't stop the rest of us! See you there as usual for 16 (or whatever your choice).
Good luck to everyone racing.

I'll be there Mick. Aiming to do 10 or 12 miles at over 9 minute miling for those in marathon training etc at a more 'conservative' pace.

Hi there, I'm hoping to join some of you for a long run on Sunday. I'm looking to do minimum 12 miles, and could fit into any group that's running between 8 - 9 minute miles. Is anyone else doing similar?

Helen - you will fit in fine to the group - beyond 12m, it is a hilly 16m. We try to make sure everyone has someone to run with and I'm sure this will be the case, especially if you do not know the route. Start details are in the title of this thread. Enjoy it!

I'm entered in Lliswerry but current fitness level renders the race a little redundant. I'll either do 4 WU + Lliswerry + 3 WD or see you at the cafe. It's been too long since I've jogged up that bloody hill. :-)

Gary - we run along the canal instead of Forest Farm Road, arriving at the south end of the canal from Ty Mawr Road between 10.00 and 10.10, if that suits you.

Mick- Nick and I are running down from Forest Farm to meet you in the morning. We may not make the cafe for 9.30 but will run towards you and join up wherever.

Well done to everyone who came today - huge crowd - hope you all achieved what you came for.
Just a quick heads up for next week - it's Handicap 10 day so a lot of us will be doing it.
A great session for most and a great concept - 10 miles is a distance within most people's capabilities and the opportunity to do a time trial on a flat out and back course is very appealing.
95 already entered when I last looked - and all done and dusted by 10 o'clock hopefully.
What more could you want?

Glad there was such a good turn-out and even Martin W did back to back long runs this weekend, I hear! Looked like a nice day for it and for the great times at Lliswerry.
