Hi Dave,
What does the cancellation of todays fixture at Dare Valley mean for the calculation of scores for the champs? Does it alter the participation requirements or will the scores stay as they are after the previous fixture?

Cheers

The championships will be based on the scores from 4 Gwent Leagues and the appropriate Welsh Championship with 5 races to score.

All members who ran 4 Gwent Leagues will be awarded an 'Ever Present' mug.

The Gwent League ever present mug should be the crowning accolade to any runner's year. Does a run still count if started but not finished. The heart was strong but the body weak?

I sadly DNF in Cardiff, only the second of my life among with the Barry 40!

You have to finish to qualify for the mug.

Last year's said "I survived Brecon". Perhaps this year's should say "I escaped Aberdare"
