I don't normally have time to do the 10 mile route on a Thursday night as I have to pick up my daughter from Guides. As it's half term this week we've made other arrangements so I'm free to do the 10 miler. Does anyone else fancy joining me, say at 8.5-9 minutes per mile pace? I know that normally the guys who run the 10 mile route are much quicker than this, so if you're a slower runner like me and you'd always fancied it but didn't like the idea of running on your own then come and join me.

Thanks,

Paul

come guys.. Make the most of the dark nights ..

It wont be long till the summer route starts again.. then hill reps 1/2 way at castle coch ready for castles BigGrin .. the summer route hill is more short and more brutal !

If you have time the 10 route has far better pavements for its extra route, its always worth it. It is not even 10, its only 9.5 so not even that far only 2.5 more than the 7, and that is nothing between friends..

Only 5 /6 more club runs till the summer route..starts !

Thanks Donna. I'd also posted this on the Facebook page and Aine, Marcus and Claire Jones said they're keen to come along too, so that makes five of us already.

Great idea - hoping to join you, but I'll be plodding unlike you younguns Blink

The 'almost 10' is much the nicest of the three winter routes in my opinion - a playful little hill and nice long stretch past the posh houses of Cyncoed

Thanks for the invite Paul
