Usual long run options from Cafe Castan for those not racing or doing Gwent League. Look forward to seeing a good turnout as usual. Please post here if intending to come along. Hope to do 20m myself.

Thanks for posting, Dave. Lots of options for St David's Day - Gwent League, Newport HM (which I'm doing) and Bath HM to mention but three. Given that there are likely to be less people training, please post your intentions on here so everyone at least gets some company.

My Sundays are all free and I think if I am to even complete Manchester it is a must that I run them all!

I lost my spikes in Builth Wells so I couldn't run the Gwent League anyway.

I had a poor start to the year and I need to come up with a decent strategy for running this Marathon. A few people I have talked to think I'm going to have a shocker if I try and break 3 hours. :(

I think I will have to run it defensively and gain experience and perhaps go for a time in the Autumn.

Speaking of Builth Wells I have your South Wales top Dave I will fetch it in.

I'm keen for a run, not risking the ankle on Gwent League and not running a half. If I'm not at Cafe Castor I'll join you somewhere on the hill between Tongwynlais and the Black Cock.

Sorry I didn't post my intentions to run as wisely suggested by Mick. There was a small turnout as expected but thank you all for your company, especially Neema for dragging me along the middle section and Dave for keeping me company to the finish. I'm not participating much in club activities these days, but really appreciate these group long runs!!

Think we all just got around today, but couldn't have done it without the company, so thanks everyone!

Thanks for company, even if I did drop off, it was good to have the company at the start and the re-group at the top helped. It was my first time for ages going to Nant Garw however I must have taken a slightly shorter route back as I caught sight of Libby and Dave on Taff Trail coming back.
