As you know, there were some very impressive individual results by Les Croupiers runners at the London Marathon on 26 April. The race also incorporated the Welsh Marathon Championships. Our super strong ladies squad comfortably ran out team gold medallists with an aggregate time (3 to score) of 9:02:19, and Angharad Mair won the individual bronze with her 2:58:44. We actually packed 4 in the top 8, with 4th Angela Leck 2:59:06, 7th Maria Zubizarreta 3:04:29 and 8th Gabby Booth 3:07:50.
Our men's team won the silver medals (aggregate time 8:09:39) with Phil Cook 5th 2:34:38, 13th Matt Hurford 2:42:55 and 29th Martin Williams 2:52:06 (gold medallists with Mickey Morris Racing Team 7:49:18). Congratulations everyone.
