I'm starting to get back into running now and I'm hoping to do another marathon next year. My only issue is with fueling strategies. I've done a few long distance events now (running and cycling) and regardless of whether I have energy gels or electrolyte drinks I get horrific heartburn for the few days after as well as feeling unwell during. I was wondering if anyone in the club uses any alternatives or could suggest any?
