Excellent detail Mick. The irrepressible Gerrie Crispie, Gethin Parker and Maria?
I'm unsure of anyone else.

Thanks Mick! As Mike says, fine attention to detail! Liz Neville and Brian Jones also ran and did really well.

Nice touch that I believe I got the medal from Deena Kastor, who was assisting. Really lovely after the finish with hundreds of helpers applauding us and handing out loads if freebies!

Well done, Dave. I remember seeing Deena Kastor when I gatecrashed the London Marathon Press Conference the year she won. Very bright lady - I could have listened to her for hours.
The personal touch always impresses me. In the first year of Virgin sponsorship at London, Richard Branson shook my hand at the finish.

I'm sure you won't be surprised that Gerry keeps all his race records - PLUS detailed accounts of his annual training mileages.27 sub 3 hours - very consistent.
I would expect Aine to win even pace awards for any event she does!

Thanks Dave for reminding and Mick himself for detail. Just back on forum for 1st time since great weekend in Chicago. Thanks to all who contributed including runners and supporters from other clubs. Although my 2nd slowest ever, I did get round in under 4 (the new '3'?) and stayed on track to complete the big 6 following in the footsteps of Kevin Jones and AndyB who will hopefully complete next month.

For those interested, I've got the details and someday (proably need to retire first) I'd like to compare notes with other statos to see the relation of mileage, training regimes and age!

Thanks Mick. Just returned from my trip yesterday. Had a great 9/10 days in Chicago. Great city and the marathon was amazing.

Some very impressive stats there. Looking forward to my bottle of Goose Island now😀! Hope to get to the club on Thursday. See you there.
