Les Croupiers Awards Night
Friday 1st May 2020
7:30 to Midnight
Jurys Inn
1 Park Place Cardiff CF10 3UD
Tickets £20 per person.

You Lucky, lucky boys and girls of #TeamCroups!

We are now in possession of 100 of the most sort after tickets of the year, and you don’t need to look for any “ticket touts” and pay well over the odds for the price of a ticket!

They’ll be on sale from this Thursday night around 8pm at Llandaff rugby club, and afterwards on Saturday morning at parkrun or Costa coffee and also both Monday night hill sessions and Tuesday nights speed sessions.

So you’ll have plenty of time to see Jenny Martin, Steve Preddy or myself Dave Williams and also Julie Scholey.

The club is paying a big subsidy towards the whole evening, all it will cost you is £20 per ticket, it’s the bargain of the century, day light robbery!

But remember once there gone, there gone!

Just a little update, we’ve only started selling tickets on Thursday night, and I’m not scaremongering!

But there going quicker than the toilet paper at your local supermarket ! By my reckoning we sold over 60% in two days

Is this likely to be postponed? I would like a ticket but for obviously can't get one yet! Can someone keep me one, please?

Hi Tracey,

I’ll await guidance as to whether this is likely to be postponed, but can keep a ticket back for you in the meantime. I know you’re vegetarian, do you have any other dietary requirements? Also, any song requests?

Good question Tracy. Unfortunately we don't have the definitive answer yet. I spoke to jury's today, and as far as they are concerned it is still on. However, they will abide by government instructions, so it may well be that in next few days we may be told it cannot go ahead as planned. If that is the case the committee is planning to reschedule the date for when restrictions are relaxed. As soon as we have any information we will be posting on forum and social media.
Sorry we can't be more definite than that at the moment.

Les Croupiers Awards Night

At this moment in time, it’s still scheduled to go ahead as planned, but here’s the But, as with everything else that’s going on around us and the world, with regards to this Coronavirus, Covid-19 out break.

There is more than a highly likely possibility, that Jury’s hotel will have to postpone the evening due to new government guide lines along with the one’s they have introduced already, about social distancing and gatherings.

The good news is, we will have our awards night, to recognise the winners of each category at some point, with so many major events being postponed and rearranged for later this year, we could find ourselves clashing with
rearranged races, and people not being able to attend the evening.

Our other option is to go for a late November or early December, and double up as a Christmas and awards evening, we will know the date very early so everyone can put it in there diary.

Everyone who has bought a ticket, for what ever the final date will be, that ticket or tickets will be honoured, Obviously if you can’t attend you will be eligible for a full refund.Please bear with us and we’ll update you with more news as soon as we know anything.
