this is a New League for 2014, Jeff and myself have been involved in the meetings to get this off the ground. This year the League will use existing events, but the hope is that in 2015 and beyond the League will take place via stand alone events.

The first event will take place on the 11th May at the Porthkerry 5.

This weekend saw the 3rd fixture of the South Wales Running League as part of the Aberdare Park 5 mile. We had a very low turn out for this event, in the Men's event we had the bare 6 to score (Matt Hurford, Phil Cook, Brian Dias, Howard Owen, Paul Chapman and Jeff Aston) and in the Ladies we were 2 short with on Sue Watson and Amanda Thompson running.
