Is anybody up to do the 16 miler this Sunday from our usual hangout at Cafe Castan in Llandaff Fields for 09:30am? With the Cardiff Half and Cross Country in recent weeks, I hope there will be quite a few up for this. I will be doing 12.5 up the hill to the car park before you meet the Black Cock Pub and back for this week and may go up to the 16 the next week.

Well done for advertising, Marcus! I need a kick up the backside to get me going after last Saturday's experience, so a 12 miler sounds ideal before Snowdon. Hopefully plenty more will join us!

Hey I'd love to join in the long run this Sunday.
I'm only up to doing 8-8.30 min miles though, and probably only 12-14 miles. That Ok?

Katy - your pace will be fine - we track back anyway and it's not a race, more about getting the miles in while having a chat! Think we will be short of people this week but in the weeks before Cardiff Half we were regularly getting about 15, so hopefully this will continue throughout the coming months! The plan is for 12 miles tomorrow. Presumably you know the start location Cafe Castan, near the top end of Cathedral Road.

Great to see this is continuing despite our being in the middle of marathon season frenzy!
Unfortunately I have a Welsh Masters selection meeting tomorrow in Rhayader, which means a shorter run from home for me.
Hope to rejoin the group next week.

Brill, thank you :-)
I do know the meeting spot - Castle Coch & back from Cafe Castan is one of my favourite routes. Looking forward to it!
See you tomorrow Jane, Dave, Marcus, Paul and hopefully others!

Would have loved the luxury of attending this but due to work I will have to run 17 very boring miles on my own in the dark. Crying

Sorry guys we are not going to make this by 9.30 so you go ahead, we may see you somewhere along the taff trail at some point. Have a good run. Jane and Paul.
